Our guests deserve not only to get to know Georgia from its best side, but also to experience and enjoy the hospitality of the country. So if we can fulfil all expectations and wishes, that is the best thing for us.
Our journey through Georgia with Meet in Georgia — and especially with our guide and driver Leri — was outstanding. We experienced breathtaking landscapes with impressive hikes to glaciers and high mountain huts, as well as beautiful churches, enchanting icons, and incredibly beautiful frescoes. We also had the chance to visit numerous fascinating fortresses and cave cities. Our hikes in Svaneti to the Chalaadi Glacier, in and around Ushguli, and on the plateau below Mount Kazbek were particularly stunning.
Thanks to our guide Leri, we gained deep insights into the biblical background of the frescoes, Georgia’s ancient Christian traditions, and the many wars of independence that have shaped the country throughout history. Culinarily, Georgia has an enormous amount to offer — from fresh vegetables and traditional oven-baked bread to a great variety of cheeses. As a vegetarian, I can’t comment on meat or fish, but the local markets are especially interesting, offering excellent quality produce. Honey lovers will also find outstanding products in monasteries and from rural beekeepers. As the oldest wine region in the world, with its unique Qvevri clay-vessel winemaking method, Georgia is a paradise for wine enthusiasts.
We are also especially grateful for Leri’s excellent driving skills — he navigated us safely and swiftly along gravel roads, “Georgian country lanes,” and through the chaotic traffic of Tbilisi.
All these experiences and impressions would not have been possible without the outstanding organization by Meet in Georgia and our guide Leri.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks — and can highly recommend both!
We had a great trip to Armenia and Georgia in September 2025 thanks to Meet in Georgia. Our time in Georgia (9 of our 12 days) was made especially memorable by our guide Gela who was always ready with interesting information and answers to every question. He especially helped us understand everyday life in Georgia and to put this into historical context and was always willing to adapt our itinerary around us and local situations. Thank you Gela! A very memorable and interesting holiday. Recommend!
Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed a tour for Travel Editions with excellent tour guide Lasha. Beyond the delights of Tbilisi, we visited Gori, Uplistsikhe, Stepantsminda (Kasbegi) in the High Caucasus, the wine delights of Khaketi, and Sighnaghi (sadly in the rain), with many churches and monasteries en route. Lasha shared with us his knowledge of history, religion, architecture and culture, in particular music, serenading us (at many excellent restaurants) with his fine tenor voice on piano and folk instruments whenever available, even joining in with a wonderful singing ensemble on our last night. Musical memories will definitely include Anthem to Tbilisi, often played on piano and sung by Lasha! We’ve enjoyed friendship and laughter all the way on this well designed tour with an excellent guide, well chosen restaurants, delicious Georgian food (and wine!)
Georg from Meet in Georgia organized a self-drive tour for us according to our wishes. The accommodations were well selected – some quite exceptional, but all clean and warmly managed. Whenever we had questions during the trip, we received immediate responses and assistance.
Particular highlights for us were the charming Hotel Unfound Door in Tbilisi, the Ateni Hills Winery with its wonderfully welcoming owners, and the dinner in the private wine cellar with Irakli in Ateni!
Georg Arnemann with his "Meet in Georgia" on site in Tbilssi not only has the plan for Geoplan, the main organizer, but also the staff to get stressed Central Europeans back on track. With Geoplan and his local tour guide “Leri” we did an exclusive 2-person tour through Georgia. For 16 days, don't think anything, just enjoy, well accommodated, great mix of art and culture, Black Sea and high mountains. Fine food, warm encounters... oh... what am I saying: unforgettable. Thanks to Geoplan and its local organizer "Meet in Georgia"
We therefore give it 110 out of 100 possible points
What an amazing experience we had while visiting Georgia! Amazing people, amazing country, fantastic wild nature and great food!
Our guide, Sandro Kolbaia was better than we could ever dreamed off. His knowledge of the endemic plants is amazing and it was a great pleasure to have someone like him as a guide and not only as a guide but also as a friend.
Thank you Sandro, Thank you Georgia
5 stars from Belgium
Meet in Georgia is an extremely efficiently run organisation. Georg, our advisor, was brilliant in his planning details of our itinerary, adjusting to changes we requested and keep ing in touch to make sure we had a wonderful holiday. He and his organisation could not have helped us more or better.
I just finished a wonderful trip with Meet in Georgia this May. It was a private tour and they created a 12 day itinerary taking into consideration the experiences we were looking for. Our tour guide Sergi provided so much knowledge about his country, making the trip more especial. Georgia it’s truly a beautiful country to visit.
Meet in Georgia provided an extremely interesting week in Georgia. We met so many fascinating people and learnt so much about the culture, food, wine and nature. I would highly recommend George at Meet in Georgia, who helped me plan he holiday, gave advice and added in some really good stops in private homes of native Georgians. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and spoke english perfectly. We had a fantastic trip. Thank you Meet in Georgia!
We had a great experience with Meet in Georgia. We had a tour with Oleg , in Tbilissi for half a day, and in wonderful places outside of the city for one day. It was perfect. Oleg is the perfect guide : very nice person, very interesting with lots of knowledge about his country, speaking so many langages (and a very good french indeed). He is also an excellent driver, driving very safely.
Highly recommended if you want to visit Georgia.
A perfectly organized tour through, unfortunately only part of Georgia due to time constraints; led by a very, very friendly tour guide.
The impressions of a beautiful country and its friendly and lovable inhabitants will never fade.
Once again a big compliment to the organizer and the tour guide.
My wife and I went on a two-week tour of Georgia with Meet in Georgia in October 2023. The program was varied and exciting, the timing worked great, everything was wonderfully organized - so full marks in that respect. And in the end, a trip like this stands or falls with the guide - and when it comes to that, we hit it perfectly: Our guide Ana responded very individually to our wishes and ideas, and we learned a lot from our conversations along the way learned about the country and life in it and had a lot of fun together. It just doesn't get any better than this, and many thanks to Meet in Georgia and especially thanks to Ana herself - it was great! The memories of this trip will stay with us for a long time. Many greetings, Christoph
It was a very nice and eventful trip. Great country, nice people and excellent support from the tour guide.
Meet in Georgia perfectly organized our 14-day individual tour through Georgia in May 2023 - many thanks to the entire team!
The 4-star hotels suggested by Meet in Georgia, our reliable driver Leri, our travel guide in Tbilisi Marika and the comprehensive additional program (wine tastings, visit to an amphora manufacturer, private cooking class with a Georgian housewife, booking in the private ambience of a sulfur bath and much more) in addition to that I can confidently recommend visiting churches and museums worth seeing to other travelers!
I would also like to mention Meet in Georgia's restaurant recommendations at each of the locations we visited, which were always accurate.
When I needed a doctor in Tbilisi, the managing director of Meet in Georgia arranged an appointment for me at short notice with a specialist who spoke good English and who treated me competently - my special thanks to Lia for this!
We used Meet in Georgia for our 6 day roundtrip in Georgia. We were in Tevali, Tbilisi and in Stepantsminda. All 3 places were great and we were taken round by their professional and courteous guide Giorgio in his nice minibus. My entire family will warmly recommend Georgia to any traveller, its safe, the culture is ancient, deep and exciting. The people are kind and helpful and then they have fantastic nature, food and wine. Also Meet in Georgia reflect the above. Professional, knowledgeable and service minded.
Great arrangements we enjoyed the trip. Especially the Gudauri trip was enjoyable. Selection Gudauri Loft Hotel is excellent. Very good English speacking Guide Mr.Gia very helpful till he left us back in Airport. All in all we had a very nice time. Thanks to Meet in Georgia LTD and specificlly Mr.Georg for accomadating all our request. Once again we are planning our Tour to Georgia very soon.
Through the support of Meet in Georgia we have had a wonderful time in Georgia for three years in a row (2020, 2021, 2022). Thank you so much for that!
I've always wanted to go to Georgia. However, the country exceeded my expectations. It's very diverse. Great nature, culture and climate - a Garden of Eden - old and modern at the same time and somehow unique. A lot is only there, e.g. the language and writing, many grape varieties of a traditional wine culture, the great songs - you can be enchanted. The trip was well organized with a nice and highly competent tour guide. Simply class. I can only warmly recommend the country and the travel agency. It helps you in every situation. Sensational!!!
