Itinerary

1 Day: Flight to Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi on this day or next day early in the morning. Transfer to your hotel in Tbilisi.

2 Day: Tbilisi

Guided city tour, visit to the Treasury at the Georgian National Museum, and dinner at a Georgian restaurant.

3 Day: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi

Full-day excursion: Visit the ancient capital Mtskheta, including Jvari Church and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, followed by a drive to Ateni Sioni Church and the cave city of Uplistsikhe. Enjoy lunch with a local family.

4 Day: Tbilisi - Ananuri - Stepantsminda - Gudauri

Visit the Monument of Georgian History, then continue into the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Explore the Ananuri Fortress Church and drive up to the Gergeti Church at the foot of Mount Kazbek. Dinner and overnight stay in Gudauri.

5 Day: Gudauri - Tianeti - Telavi

Drive to the wine region Kakheti. Visit Old Shuamta Church and Alaverdi Cathedral. In the evening, enjoy a wine tasting and dinner with a local family.

6 Day: Telavi - Tsinandali - Gremi - Nekresi - Telavi

Sightseeing near Telavi: Duke's Estate in Tsinandali, Gremi Fortress complex, and Nekresi Monastery complex.

7 Day: Telavi - Bodbe - Signagi - Tbilisi

Visit to the Bodbe Monastery and a walk through the town of Sighnaghi. At midday, wine tasting and lunch at a winery, accompanied by a Georgian vocal ensemble.

8 Day: Departure

Transfer to the airport. Departure.
